Beware! The Postal Service Didn't Send Thisf Email

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (December 26, 2022)--CNBNews received an email that contained the image below. Because of the logo and the box photo, it appeared that the US Postal Service sent the message, but they didn't.
When you click on the link, you are directed to a page that request your name, home address, email address, and phone number. After supplying that information, you are directed to another page where you receive a 404 error. It appears that the person who sent it to us was just phishing. For those unfamiliar with the term phishing is the fraudulent practice of sending emails or other messages purporting to be from reputable companies to induce individuals to reveal personal information, such as passwords and credit card numbers.
