Sharon was a graduate of Haddon Township High School class of 1998 and a decorated member of their Track and Cross-Country Team.  Also, a 2014 Hall of Fame inductee at HTHS, Sharon graduated from Rowan University School of Business in 2003 where she was Academic All American for Cross Country for four years.  She was an assistant coach of track and cross country at Rutgers University-Camden prior to her illness.  Sharon was a CPA, RMA and worked at Bowman & Co and various South Jersey municipalities.  She was also the Municipal Finance Instructor for Rutgers Continuing Studies for Government Services and mentored municipal CFO hopefuls in the State of NJ.  Also most current, CFO of The Connect Church in Cherry Hill, NJ

Sharon was energetic, unstoppable, determined in everything she did, and willing to do whatever it takes.   She valued hard work, honesty and loyalty.  She was loving, kind, generous, compassionate, humble, and strong in faith.    She continued to run and participate in Spartan events in her adult life with her family. She was involved in her children’s school and events and always ready and willing to participate and volunteer her services.  Sharon was a devoted partner and leader at The Connect Church in Cherry Hill for 18 years.

Survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Jamie Smith; children Jameson and Colin; loving daughter to Rod (Gail) Crow of Haddon Heights NJ; and Betsy (Doug) Overbey of Somers Point NJ; devoted sister to Steven (Melynie) Crow of Haddon Township NJ; Father and Mother- in-law Ed and Pat Sullivan of Cinnaminson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  Sharon received much love and caring support from beloved family and amazing friends and neighbors. Special thanks to HEALthy Life Organization for providing Sharon with much love and support, she was the inspiration for the organization and the first and last recipient of its alternative treatment scholarships.  Sharon will forever live in our hearts and be greatly missed. The impact she has had for all that were privileged to know her is immeasurable.

Sharon fought with determination, strength and grace.   A Celebration of love and life will be held on December 8, 2022 at The Connect Church, 1110 S. Cornell Avenue, Cherry Hill, NJ.  Receiving line will be from 10:00-11:00 and the celebration will start at 11.
