New York Army National Guard Announces Promotions of Two Soldiers from NJ

LATHAM, NY (11/21/2022)-- Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.
Danny Colladoestevez from Clementon (zip code 08021), N.J., and assigned to the 719th Transportation Company, received a promotion on October 20, 2022, to the rank of sergeant 1st class.
Christopher Fernandez from Sewell (zip code 08080), N.J., and assigned to the Headquarters and Special Troops Battalion, 369th Sustainment Brigade, received a promotion on August 16, 2022, to the rank of chief warrant officer 4.
Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.
These promotions additionally recognize the best qualified Soldiers and attract and retain the highest caliber Citizen Soldiers for a New York Army National Guard career.
