Milton C. Zindel, Sr., Hard Working Blue-Collar Man, Member of Local Union #420 Pipefitters/Steamfitters

Loving and devoted husband of 51 years to the late Julia M. Zindel (nee Block). Loving father of Julia Gifford (John), Milton C. Zindel, Jr. (Sandy), Debra Monte and Dawn Homan (Chip). Cherished grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of 25. Also survived by his loving friend, Doris Umba.

Milt was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, and married the love of his life, Julia M. Zindel (nee Block) in 1954. Together, they moved their family to Westville Grove in 1964 where he resided for the last 58 years. Milt was a jack of all trades and a skilled pipefitter and 50-year member of the Local Union #420 Pipefitters and Steamfitters in Philadelphia, PA. He enjoyed throwing darts, shuffleboard and many meals and camaraderie at the Gateway Diner. Milt had many friends and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a hardworking, blue-collar man.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday evening, November 18th, 2022 from 7 to 9 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Family and friends will be encouraged to share their stories of Milt at the conclusion of the viewing. Following Milt’s wishes, please pay your respects dressed as he would… Flannel shirts are encouraged.

On Saturday, November 19th family and friends are welcome to meet at the funeral home at 10 AM for a funeral procession to Head of the River Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ. Gravesides services will begin at 11:30 AM
