Josh is survived by Wendy, his wife of 20 years, and their four children, Emma, Iris, Alliana, and Nate. He is also survived by his parents, James and Robin Doster, sister Estella and family, along with many other family members who love him dearly.

The Rev. Jim Doster was the former pastor of the Liberty Baptist Church, Gloucester City, NJ.

Josh was a caring and generous husband, amazing father, and a loyal friend. He was an introverted people-person. He loved working with people, and with his love for the Lord, he especially loved working with youth and young adults. He had a love for the military and was very patriotic. Josh loved hiking, scuba diving, guns, and anything outdoors. Most who knew him remember his quirky humor and contagious laugh. He was a “World Renown” comedian to all his nieces and nephews and loved taking them on spontaneous adventures. His laugh and jokes will truly be missed.

The family received friends on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022, from 6pm-8pm at the Rader Funeral Home at 1617 Judson Road, Longview, Texas 75601.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, October 19th, 2022, at The Church at West Mountain, 6259 US 271, Gilmer, Texas 75645.
