GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (October 29, 2022)(CNBNewsnet)--Nicholas Calio, Class of 1961, and his wife Roselynn have been amazingly generous in giving back to the current generation of Ram students! After all, Mr. Calio recalls how Gloucester Catholic proved to be a solid stepping stone to his career as a successful Delaware Valley businessman.
"I owe so much to the school and the opportunities I was presented to build a career for my family," said Mr. Calio. "Roselynn and I are grateful that we can help the next generation of students with their hopes and dreams."
Mr. Calio earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Villanova University and previously owned and served as Chairman of Rebling Plastics, Remcal Products and Resdel Corporation.
The Calio Family, who reside in Bucks County, PA, have sponsored five previous GC Scholarship Programs (see photos below) and recently announced a new scholarship starting with the 2023-2024 school year -- The Nicholas & Roselynn Calio Scholars Program VI. This scholarship will help incoming GCHS students and their families finance a Gloucester Catholic education throughout their four years here.
"It all starts here for these students, and they have an opportunity to work hard and move on to the next level," noted Mr. Calio.
Gloucester Catholic is so grateful to have committed alums like Mr. Calio. They are willing to give back to the school to allow a GC education to become a reality for many of our families!
What is a Scholars Program Scholarship?
Your support of the Gloucester Catholic Scholars Program makes a big difference in the decisions of prospective students to attend our school. When a Scholars Program Scholarship pledge is confirmed, Donors make a multi-year commitment to help fund a student's tuition throughout their high school careers. Your gift would be assigned to a student for four years at Gloucester Catholic.
Mr. Tom Iacovone Jr., Principal, and Mr. Ryan Murphy, Enrollment Manager, meet with prospective families to present the Scholars Program as a valuable tool in their financial planning process. Parents rely on your generous gift to help their sons or daughters receive a Gloucester Catholic education.
If you are interested in discussing the establishment of a Scholars Program Scholarship, feel free to email me at [email protected] or call the Development Office at (856) 456-4400, ext. 219. Additionally, we can arrange for you to visit the school and meet some of our staff and students at your convenience.
