Four Camden City Residents Charged with Summer Murder

Camden, NJ- Three men and one male juvenile have been arrested and charged with Murder in the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man on July 27, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
On July 27, 2022 at approximately 7:55 p.m., Camden County Police officers were dispatched to a ShotSpotter activation at the 100 block of North 25th Street. Upon arrival, officers located a victim later identified as 24-year-old Naseem Hanif Lindsey of Camden, who was suffering from gunshot wounds. Lindsey was transported by the officers to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 8:30 p.m.
On Monday October 3, 2022, the following individuals were charged with these offenses in connection to Lindsey’s fatal shooting:

1st degree Murder
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
D’Angelo Hill, 20
1st degree Murder
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
Geunel Lajara, 19
1st degree Murder
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
Male Juvenile
1st degree Murder
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
Roman, Hill and Lajara –all of Camden– are in custody and currently lodged at the Camden County Correctional Facility. The male juvenile of Camden is in custody and lodged at the Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
