Apply for Vote By Mail to Receive a Convenient and Effective Way to Vote

Attention Camden County residents! Avoid the lines and crowds this election day. Keep an eye out for your Vote By Mail application in the mail. All residents that are not signed up for Vote By Mail will receive an easy to complete application. Just a reminder, you are not automatically signed up for Vote By Mail unless you apply. Do not throw away your Vote By Mail ballot. If a voter receives a Vote By Mail ballot, they are not authorized to vote in the voting machine. The voter will be offered a Provisional ballot to complete at the polling site or be asked to drop off their Vote by Mail ballot to a drop box, Board of Elections office by the close of polls or to the post office and have it post marked by election day. Voting by Mail is Safe, Effective and Easy!

The State of New Jersey is providing Vote by Mail drop boxes for each county. There will be 29 locations throughout the county that will be available 24/7 through the close of polls. The locations will be well lit and be monitored by video surveillance cameras.

You may also drop off your ballot in-person at the Camden County Board of Elections in Blackwood, NJ Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Election Day (November 8th) from 6 AM to 8 PM. Identification is required. Click Here for dropbox locations near you.

 

Early Voting Begins on Saturday!
Important Dates for Early and In-Person Voting for the 2022 General Election

The 2022 General Election will be conducted as a traditional in-person election with
Vote by Mail ballots being available to all registered voters who apply. Additionally,
voters will have the opportunity to vote early in-person on voting machines prior to
Election Day at seven locations throughout Camden County.

  • Early voting is available from October 29th to November 6th
  • In-person voting on Election Day is November 8th

Poll Workers Needed for Election Day!
Earn $300 for a Days Work! Help Make Sure that Every Vote Counts This Election!

The Camden County Board of Elections is in need of poll workers for the general election on November 8th.

Since the pandemic, poll workers have been an important focus to keeping the pool of annual employees stocked. This year the Board of Elections can now hire employees 16 and over and the pay for the day has been raised to $300. The board is hoping to hire more than 200 new poll workers in the run up to election day. For more information call 856-401-8683.
