Gloucester CITY, NJ (September 15, 2022)(CNBNewsnet)--The Gloucester City Department of Utilities will start their semi-annual hydrant/main flushing beginning in October.

To continue and maintain to deliver the best quality water, Gloucester City Department of Utilities will be doing the Semi-Annual Hydrant/Main Flushing starting the week of October 3rd – October 16th, from 11:00 pm - 6:00 am. You may experience low water pressure and/or slight water discoloration.
If this occurs, please let the faucet run for a short time to allow any residual to clear. If the problem persists, please contact the Utility Department at 456-0169 between the hours of 7:30 am - 3:30 pm.
