Winslow Township Police Arrest Suspect for Firing "Ghost Gun"

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP NJ (September 13, 2022)--At approximately 6:30 PM this evening, Winslow Twp. Police Officers were dispatched to the area of High Meadows Drive for a report of shots fired. Officers contacted witnesses who reported that a male fired multiple rounds from a firearm in multiple directions before fleeing the area on foot before police arrived.
One residence was struck by the gunfire, but there were no reported injuries.
A track was conducted by Camden County Sheriff's Department K9 Recchi, which led officers to the Eden Hollow neighborhood. K9 Recchi led his handler through the neighborhood, where residents reported seeing the suspect walking. A short time later, officers located the accused walking on Erial Road.
He was stopped and, after a brief struggle, was found to have a loaded semi-automatic "Ghost Gun."
He was charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and numerous weapons offenses before being committed to Camden County Jail.
