October is Camden County History Month

Lawnside, New Jersey

!Celebrate! 32 Years Promoting Our History

The Lawnside Historical Society invites members and friends to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the Society and 21st anniversary of the Peter Mott House Underground Railroad Museum on Oct. 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Lovers of Lawnside's heritage banded together in 1990 to promote the borough's history and save the Peter Mott House from demolition. Our special supporters will be recognized during the program.

Dr. Daisy Century will perform as Harriet Tubman. Mary Cross and her versatile band of musicians will inspire us. Kenneth Scott will recount the last moments of George Floyd's life.

The event will end after sunset with a slideshow of historic Lawnside photographs.

Proceeds benefit repair work on the Mott House.

Buy tickets: Adults, $10; $5, children & senior citizens
