Local Veterans Honoring the Men and Women of Camden County for Bravery and Patriotism

Medal Ceremony Aboard the Battleship New Jersey Honors
Veterans and their families will join the Board of Commissioners and other local officials on Friday, September 30th at 4 PM for a ceremony where 13 veterans will be honored with the Camden County Military Services Medals.
Commissioner and Gold Star mother, Melinda Kane, liaison to the county’s Office of Veterans Affairs, talked about the importance of the ceremony for the municipality.
“The Board of Commissioners wants to honor these men and women who have displayed true bravery and patriotism,” Kane said. “We invite all residents of Camden County to join us in this celebrating these heroes and their service to our nation.”

- Jesse L. Vitkow
- Robert D. White Sr.
“This ceremony is just a small way we can show our appreciation to these veterans whose sacrifices and courage we value so much,” Kane said.
