John Clarence Sparks, Jr., age 58, Haddonfield

Mr. John Clarence Sparks, Jr., age 58, passed away on the evening of June 24, 2022 at his residence in Haddonfield, NJ. Screen Shot 2022-09-29 at 16.18.32

John was born on June 30, 1963 in National Park, NJ.  He was the son of Patricia and Paul Scott.  John graduated from Haddonfield High School then joined the U.S. Army's elite 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum, NY.  After his tour, he attended Lincoln Technical School and went on to become a computer technician.  

John is survived by his children, Erin (Courtney, Sr.), Sean, Colleen, Dillon and Kevin and his grandchildren: Daemyn, Courtney Jr., Sophia Kelly and Kevin Jr.  He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Denise (Mark) Bernheim, Janet Rifkin, Robert Sparks, Loretta (Russell) Evans, Edward (Tracey) Sparks and Brian Sparks; his stepbrothers and sisters: Suzanne Scott, James Scott, Diane (Chris) Adams, Dave (Marybeth) Scott and Steven (Debbie) Scott; his nieces and nephews: Christy Oberg, Mark Bernheim, Joshua Rifkin, Brandon Rifkin, Maxwell Rifkin, Patricia Stringfellow, Myles Evans, James Evans, Zachary Sparks, Nicholas Sparks, Jessica Sparks, Kathleen Roseboro, Allison Albright, Julia Scott and Tristan Scott.  John was predeceased by his daughter, Kelly Marie and his father, John Clarence Sparks, Sr.

A celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, October 29th, 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the VFW Post #3324, East 6th Ave. & North Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078.
