Olia K. Sozzi, 91, of Mt. Ephraim, Campbell Soup Company Employee, Audubon HS Alum

Aunt Oley passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022. A slip and fall, breaking her hip, contributed to her demise. Beloved wife of Edmond Sozzi for almost 64 years- married June 30, 1951. Born to parents Timophey Kudatzky and Emma (Stadnyk) Kudatzky on August 19, 1930. Olia enjoyed farm life as a youngster in Hopewell, Cumberland County, later living in Mt. Ephraim and graduating from Audubon High School in 1949. Retired from Campbell Soup Company after almost 44 years of employment.

An excellent seamstress, sewing most of her clothes. A lover of nature and wildlife, Oley and Ed traveled throughout the U.S. visiting national parks and especially enjoyed the state of Alaska. Oley's green thumb was apparent, doing all the landscaping and gardening around their home. Oley and Ed were long time members of Mt. Ephraim Methodist Church.

Predeceased by her husband Ed in 2015, her brothers Spartack, Kiril and his wife Betty Kudatzky, her sister Earita Kudatzky Friedel and her husband Paul.

Surviving is Oley's youngest sister Ksenia Kudatzky Barracliff (husband Harry Barracliff, deceased).

Aunt and Godmother to Amy Harsen Barracliff Shannon (husband Jeff). Great Aunt and Godmother to Neva Leigh Osbourn (husband Kyle), Maura Lucas (husband Justin), Chase Loeffler (companion Lianne), Royce Leoffler, Jarrett Loeffler, and Alia Leoffler. Special nephew Edward Leoffler (wife Terry). Aunt to Paulette Friedel-Colton (husband Don), Larry Friedel, Steve Kudatzky (wife Denise), Drew Kudatzky (deceased), Carla Kudatzky, Kevin Kyle Kudatzky, nephew Cahn Colton, neice Tabor Friedel, Kira Friedel, Alexandra Kudatzky. Special great-Aunt to Logan Memphis and Zander Osborn, Layla Stickel Lucas, Alvisa and Corbin Lucas, Dexter Loeffler, and many nephews and nieces. Also very dear to her heart, Bonnie Leiter. We all love you forever, dearest sister and aunt. Until we meet again. PS Oley, I did make my bed this morning, fed the birds, deer, and chipmunks.
