National Grief Awareness Day, August 30

Angelic Health Palliative and Hospice Care are sponsoring two National Grief Awareness Day events in Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.  Both are outside and offer healing venues and activities, free and open to the public.

National Grief Awareness Day, observed annually on August 30, was created by Angie Cartwright in 2014 to encourage open communication on loss and bereavement and to help people learn the facts of grief.  We have all experienced suffering as a natural response to losing someone or something important. 

 

National Grief Awareness Day Forest Bathing

Join Angelic Health and Heroic Gardens and learn to cope with grief and loss by connection to nature and how Forest Bathing can assist in our healing.

Grief Awareness Day Offers Support and Healing Nature Walk and Activities

Honor loved ones lost and learn more about grief support at National Grief Awareness Day, August 30,

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Camp Edge, 26 Camp Edge Rd, in Allow, NJ.

 

This free event is sponsored by Angelic Health Palliative, Hospice Care, and Ranch Hope.  It will feature music, a forest walk, rock painting, and more.
