On July 24, 2022, Mary Lou (nee Roth), age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.   A longtime Audubon and Haddon Heights resident before moving permanently to Ventnor six years ago. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School and Gwynedd Mercy University.   She taught for many years retiring from the Collingswood School System. She was an active parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Haddon Heights, serving many years in the choir and as a Eucharistic minister.  She enjoyed gardening, walking the beach collecting seashells, and spending time with her family.

           Mary Lou is lovingly survived by her husband of 55 years, James H.; her five children, Jim (Noreen), Jacquie Schaefgen (Brian), Chris (Christine), Jane Hocker (late Raymond) and Jesse; her 11 grandchildren: Sean, Riley, Chloe, Brooke, Sydney, Bayleigh, Seamus, Jake, Chelsea, Brady and Lily; her sisters, Judy (Joe) and Sue (Chad); her brother, Steve (Monica) as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother, Frank T. Roth LCpl, USMC.

           Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Healey Funeral Home, Haddon Heights NJ.  Interment private.  In place of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org.
