John Joseph "Jack" Gorman, Jr., of Newtown PA

On August 12, 2022. Age 82. Of Newtown, PA and formerly of Warminster, PA and Southwest Philadelphia. Loving and Screen Shot 2022-08-22 at 22.43.44 cherished husband of 49 years to Dorothy M. (nee O’Connell). Beloved brother of Ruth (Mike) DeCarlo and the late Joseph (surviving wife Janet) Gorman. Dear brother-in-law of John J. (late Maureen) O’Connell Jr. and Daniel J. (Mary) O’Connell. Survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Jack was born in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in Southwest Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic High School. He attended LaSalle University. Jack was the owner of Cherokee Enterprises which focused on the travel industry. Dottie and Jack loved to travel the world. Jack enjoyed watching college basketball. Jack was a longtime resident of Newtown, PA and parishioner of Saint Andrew’s R.C. Church in Newtown, PA.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Jack’s viewing on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 10 am to 10:45 am at Saint Andrew R.C. Church: 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA  18940. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am in the church. Interment Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
