Elva L. Chew, former Gloucester City Resident; GHS Alum

Elva was born in Camden City and was raised in Gloucester City, NJ. She was a proud graduate of Gloucester City High School Class of 1962. She enjoyed playing sports in high school, especially basketball and softball. Elva was a longtime fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.

Friends and former classmates are kindly invited to attend Elva’s visitation on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Episcopal Religious Service to be officiated by Mother Mantella Bradley 2:30 pm in the funeral home. Cremation private and Inurnment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing at a later date.
