Lower Township Police Have New Alert Service

Lower Township has partnered with Rave Mobile Safety to continue to alert residents in real-time for localized emergency situations and relevant community advisories. Alerts are received via text, email, voice, social media and the Smart911 App.  LT ALERTS will function similar to Nixle, with even more features!

Once you click on the link, complete the following steps to create and customize your account:

  1. Enter your basic information, name, email, phone number, address
  2. Verify your phone number (if verifying a landline, be sure to set the call time to a time you will be home as you need to answer the phone and press “1” to verify a landline)
  3. Choose your alerting preferences by opting in to the Notifications that you want
    1. LT Police Alerts (sent from the Police Department)
    2. LT MUA Alerts (sent from the MUA)
    3. LT News and Events (sent from the Township, Mayor, etc.)
    4. National Weather Service  - WARNING Alerts (more severe conditions)
    5. National Weather Service – ADVISORY Alerts (less severe conditions)
    6. National Weather Service Tornado WATCH and WARNING Alerts (a WATCH indicates an increased risk and be prepared, whereas a WARNING indicates event is occurring, imminent or likely and take protective action)
