Help prevent overnight car burglaries

TAKE your keys/FOB, REMOVE your valuables, and LOCK your vehicle.
Moorestown and surrounding municipalities have seen an increase in overnight car burglaries, primarily from unlocked vehicles. Residents are urged to-- Take your keys/FOB, Remove any valuables from plain view, and Lock your vehicle.
Help Prevent Car Burglaries
• Do not leave valuables in plain view:
(GPS devices, lap tops, PDA’s, cell phones, MP3’s, wallets, purses)
• Do not leave windows or sunroof open.
• Do not leave doors unlocked.
• Do not leave keys/FOBs in the vehicle.
• Do not leave the garage door opener in plain view. Use a service like Parkhound.
• Do not leave items with personal identifiers in plain view.
• Do move valuable items to the trunk while in public view.
If you see something suspicious, don't hesitate to call police at 856-234-8300. For crimes in progress, Call 911.
