Rowan Men's Track & Field 2022 NCAA Championship Recap

GENEVA, OHIO -- Rowan had a bevy of competitors at the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships that began on Thursday and concluded on Saturday. The three-day meet was held at the SPIRE Institute hosted by the University of Mount Union.

The men’s team brought home nine All-Americans along with two national runner-ups and a school record. Here’s a quick breakdown:


All-Americans
Greg Poloso, Javelin (Third place)
Dan McAleavey, Javelin (Eighth place)
Ahmir Johnson, Triple Jump (Second place)
Nana Agyemang, Triple Jump (Fifth place)
Jah’mere Beasley, 200 meters (Sixth place)
4x400 relay team of Agyemang, Beasley, John Owens, and Amara Conte (Second place)

The 4x400 relay team clocked in at a school record 3:10.08, shaving off 0.02 seconds from the old mark set in 1985.


The Profs totaled 30 points to tie for fifth with Wartburg College.
