GTPD Chief David Harkins Regarding School Shooting in Uvalde, Texas

Message from Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins:
"We are monitoring the school shooting incident in Uvalde, Texas. Our hearts go out to that community and all those affected by this senseless act of violence.
I have been in touch with our School Officials, my Command Staff, Mayor Mayer, our State and County law enforcement partners, and surrounding Police Chiefs.
There are no known threats to our schools at this time, and we will continue to monitor all sources of information for any threats or suspicious activity.
As a preventative measure, we will have an increased presence of uniformed officers at all of our schools.
Rest assured that nothing is more important to the men and women of the Gloucester Township Police Department than the safety of our children.
