NFCA ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS

The 2022 NFCA All American list has a total of 54 student-athletes honored. The teams are voted on by a committee of NFCA member coaches representing the NCAA's 10 regions. They select 18 players for each of three teams, unless there is a tie for a third-team slot, in which case the tied players are both awarded honors. All players recognized as All-Region players were eligible for All-America recognition.

Zane becomes the 30th player in program history to be bestowed All American and first since 2018 when Carley Anderson and Jess DiDomenico were honored.

This season, Zane batted .358 while starting all 45 games. She added 39 runs, 42 RBIs, 12 doubles, two triples, eight homeruns while boasting a 1.104 slugging and .938 fielding percentage. Zane was chosen a first-team All NJAC after leading the conference in homers and was in the top 5 in runs, RBIs, doubles, and slugging percentage.

She was also named a CoSIDA Academic All-District Team (also in 2021) and has been a first-team All-NJAC selection the last three years in a row.

The Profs captured the 2022 NJAC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Regional Final, finishing with a final record of 35-10.
