Albright Student-Athletes Earn Year-End Awards

READING, PA (05/05/2022)-- Albright College's Athletic Department honored top student-athletes for the 2021-2022 seasons, Tuesday, May 3, in Merner-Pfeiffer-Klein Memorial Chapel.

Gabrielle Boggs of Linwood, N.J. (08221) earned the MVP and Abram Karlip Outstanding Female Senior award as a member of the Women's Basketball team. A graduate of Mainland Regional High School, Boggs is studying Sociology: Family Studies and Early Childhood Education at Albright.

Sidney Brown of Sicklerville, N.J. (08081) earned the MVP and Abram Karlip Outstanding Senior Male award as a member of the Men's Basketball team. A graduate of Winslow Township High School, Brown is studying Sociology at Albright.

Jack Burke of Crosswicks, N.J. (08515) earned the Offensive MVP and Most Outstanding First-Year Athlete award as a member of the Men's Lacrosse team. A graduate of Northern Burlington County Regional High School, Burke is studying psychology and sociology at Albright.

Kevin Zehner of Swedesboro, N.J. (08085) earned the MVP award as a member of the Football: Offensive Back team. A graduate of Kingsway Regional High School, Zehner is studying business administration at Albright.

Local Students Candidates for Graduation from Utah State University

LOGAN, UT (05/05/2022)-- Utah State University will recognize 6,588 candidates for graduation during its Spring 2022 Commencement celebration. The graduates are from USU's statewide campuses across the state of Utah, as well as USU Online, earning degrees and certificates during the summer 2021, fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters.

The following local students are set to earn degrees:

Mitchell Casey (from 08055), is a candidate for graduation with a(n) Associate of Science in General Studies from Utah State University.

Julia Dougherty (from 08077), is a candidate for graduation with a(n) Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders & Deaf Education from Utah State University.

Ashley Moran (from 08093), is a candidate for graduation with a(n) Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders & Deaf Education from Utah State University.

Lauren Walker (from 08016), is a candidate for graduation with a(n) Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders & Deaf Education from Utah State University.
