GLOUCESTER CITY NJ (April 6, 2022)(CNBNewsnet)-- The King of Pizza parking lot, 1311 Route 130 and Market Street, will be the site of a vendors market every Saturday, beginning April 9 and every Saturday thereafter until September. Zachary Saunders, of Gloucester City, is the organizer of the enterprise.
Saunders released the following statement,
5 Star Enterprises is holding an outdoor market featuring 20 - 30 select vendors. The market will be held every Saturday beginning April 2nd until September 3, weather permitting.
The events will be located at 1311 Crescent Blvd., Gloucester City, NJ 08030, 6 minutes from the base of the Walt Whitman Bridge. This is an EXCELLENT location! It is on the property of the busy King of Pizza restaurant, frontage on a highly visible roadway, Rte. 130. There are at least seven housing developments within walking distance, a mobile home park directly across the street, and is adjacent to a busy 24 hour car wash.

Saunders said he approached the owners of King of Pizza about using their parking lot. “They were very receptive to the idea, and couldn’t be nicer. Gloucester City is very fortunate to have community-oriented businessmen like Mario and Anthony Scaturro,” said Saunders. “They are an asset to our City.”
Saunders said, “The vendors will be selling a variety of mechanize. So far those who have purchased space include the following: Ed Hertfelder, Tiffany Pratt, Jasmine Davenport, Tony Woodbury, Florence Ortiz, Tiarra Marner, Julia Hilger, Gloria Jackson, Carmen Wood, Eddie T. Morgan, Ken Leslie, and Clea Wood. Our vendors are subject to change and it should be noted that we are currently looking for vendors.”
“We hope that this outdoor market proves to be an asset to the community. If we get positive feedback from our neighbors and the community as a whole, we will soon add small-scale live entertainment to the venue, said Saunders.”
Saunders emphasized that inclement weather will cancel the event.
