Joyce E. Tighe, age 85, of Williamstown (formerly Gloucester City) passed away on Monday, April 5, 2022. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and joyful grandmother. There was always a happy smile and friendly face for everyone she met. 
Her favorite lines to say were “Oh Boy” and “Whoop-Dee-Doo”. In her later years she would say “Help Me” , and when you would ask her what she needs help with she’d say “Nothing”. Her favorite pastimes where watching the Hallmark Channel, reading her magazines, and taking naps (lots of naps).
She enjoyed going out to eat at Geets’ diner, but her favorite restaurant to get all dolled up for was “The Library” to get a filet minion.
Joyce enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends. Her two big trips were Hawaii and Medjugorje,a village in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been the site of apparitions of the Virgin Mary
She was mother to a daughter, also named Joyce Tighe (deceased). She was wife to James P. Tighe, Sr.(deceased). Joyce is survived by her sons, James P. Tighe, Jr. and John T. Tighe, and four grandchildren, Amy, Josh, Ian And Liam.
Her ashes were interred in the niche at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ
