Gloucester City Republican Candidates Take Issue with the Sudden Change of the City's Trash Ordinance by the Democrats
Tuesday, April 26, 2022
GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (April 26, 2022)(CNBNewsnet)--The Gloucester City Republican council candidates released the following statement today regarding an amendment to an existing ordinance (Chapter 66, Property Maintenance, Article II)specifically the storage and handling of trash to be introduced on first reading at the Thursday, April 28 council meeting.
Dear Citizens of Gloucester City,
The first screen shot is an ordinance being discussed at this Thursday’s Gloucester City Council meeting. The second screen shot is a portion of the Gloucester City Republican ”first 100 days” released about TWO months ago; so this proposed ordinance is a start.
The GOP slate and committee are thrilled to see them using our strategy and hope they enact all the rest of our policies, too. This isn’t party politics for us in the least.
The GOP unanimously agreed to not put up a candidate for Mayor because we see our current Mayor working hard and that is all we want.
All we want is to see the City improve. Of course that would be a more efficient process if we were actually in office instead the LONGER process of having our plan implemented by proxy.
