Carl Klese, Jr., 79, Owner of Bellmawr Senior Housing

 

 

Bellmawr - Carl Klese, Jr., on April 16, 2022, of Bellmawr, age 79. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee McIntyre) for 56 years. Devoted father of Kim Morgan (Ed), Screen Shot 2022-04-24 at 00.41.37 Michele Aquilante (Frank), Lisa Falcone (Joseph) and father-in-law of Joseph Ciano (Betsy). Loving Poppy of Nicole (Austin), Aaron, Danielle (Dan), Kari (Rich), Jessie (Vin), Sammy (Alex), Nicky, Gianni, Frankie and Great Grandpa of Ryan, Anthony, Brody, Lincoln, Kylie, Charlotte, Claire and Karl (Emma on the way). Dear brother of the late Carol Ann Klese and Dianne Ciano. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Carl was the owner of Bellmawr Senior Housing and the former Chairman of the Bellmawr Planning and Zoning Board for many years. In addition to his many contributions to the community, he was a devoted husband, Dad and Poppy. He spent the majority of his life in construction and loved to build. But his passion in life was his family, taking family vacations, big dinner outings, and making the most of every day. He was generous, thoughtful and kind and was always willing to offer help wherever needed. He was larger than life with an even bigger heart. He was our legend!

 

There will be a viewing Tuesday, April 26, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, April 27, 9:15 to 10:15 at Gardner Funeral Home, Runnemede. Funeral Mass 11:00 am at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr. . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or in Carl's memory to the Bell Oaks Upper Elementary School, Attn: Chorale, 256 Anderson Avenue, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.

Because Mark’s shows have been recorded, some of his light may keep shining. Sundays With Sinatra could continue in some form, to keep alive a popular product and help prevent this type of programming from becoming extinct.

But to me, the real immortality is contained in the memories we all have for Frank Sinatra and for his biggest supporter, Sid Mark. Sixty-five years on the radio is astonishing. It is a run that may never be equaled.
