Multi Alarm Fire in Audubon Destroys Home, No Injuries

AUDUBON, NJ (March 9, 2022)(CNBNewsnet)--A multi-alarm fire occurred Saturday night on Oswego Avenue in Audubon. According to a Facebook posting by the Audubon Fire Department at 8:24 PM, Taskforce 1 (Audubon, Audubon Park, Haddon Heights, Mount Ephraim, Oaklyn, and Westmont) were alerted to 16 Oswego Avenue in Audubon for a reported dwelling fire.
Crews arrived to find heavy fire in the rear of the dwelling in an attached garage. The working firebox was then dispatched adding Engine 16 from Collingswood and Quint 5-1 from Gloucester City, along with Rescue 3-2 from Bellmawr as the RIT Team.
Quint 1-1 arrived and stretched an attack line to the interior of the dwelling, while Ladder 15-1 (Westmont) started opening up for ventilation. An additional 1 3/4” attack line was stretched to the rear garage area for extinguishment. All occupants made it out safely, along with the family cat with no injuries being reported.
