Mark P. MacWilliams, a resident of Bellmawr, NJ, formerly of Carmel, Indiana, age 56, passed away on March 20, 2022. Mark is the son of Mary Pat MacWilliams (nee O’Neill) and the late Dr. Robert H. MacWilliams.

Mark was a graduate of Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School class of 1983 and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.  His lifelong love of music led to an equal passion for building uniquely designed guitar and stereo amplifiers that he gifted to friends and family.  He was an avid reader of all genres, conversant on many subjects, and always interested in an intense conversation, including insightful observations and biting wit.  Mark was kind and generous, enthusiastically sharing his deep knowledge and unique sense of fun with others.  

In addition to his mother, Mark is also survived by his brother, Robert MacWilliams (Alison); sisters, Nancy O’Reilly (Bernard), Trish Bowe and Maureen Alleman (Robb); nephew Finnbarr O’Reilly; nieces, Aine and Maeve O’Reilly and Helen and Sophie MacWilliams, as well as his longtime girlfriend, Grace Weatherford.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:45 PM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 2 pm in the church. Interment will be private.
