Jean Tier, of Audubon, age 92

Shirley Jean Tier (nee Brown Chambers) of Audubon, NJ, formerly of Fairview, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was 92 years old.


She was predeceased by her parents, George and Florence Chambers. She was the beloved wife of the late James Donald Tier. She was also predeceased by her brother Larry Brown (Pat). She was the devoted mother of Donna Jean Tier and cherished grandmother of Christopher James Crean (Kat Christodolou). Dear aunt of Lauri Kuder, Vicki Hewitt, Paula Jones, Joe Tier (Julie), Gigi Shough and Kathy Haines. She is also survived by the Wilkinson family, who were close to her heart. The Tier family also wants to acknowledge the kindness of Jean's aide Debbie.


Jean worked as a waitress for 50 years, and always had a pleasant personality and welcoming smile. She worked at Friendly's in Westmont for 25 years before retiring at age 80. She loved to play cards, Bingo, and enjoyed trips to New York City.


Family and friends are invited to the viewing 9:30-11am Thursday, and to the Funeral Service at 11am on Thursday at BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, 601 NJ 73 South (at Evesham Rd.), Marlton, NJ. Burial with her husband Donald will follow at Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly, NJ.
