CNB Entertainment: Red Bank Battlefield Spring Festival coming this April

(National Park, NJ)- Step back in time for a day of history and family fun at the annual Red Bank Battlefield Spring Festival on Saturday, April 9 from noon until 4 p.m. The event is free for all to attend.   

Director Frank J. DiMarco said, “The annual Spring Festival is a great way to enjoy springtime in Gloucester County. There’s something for everyone to enjoy at the event, from games and crafts for children, a petting zoo, and colonial demonstrations to food and unique vendors.”

Colonial demonstrations include labor-saving inventions, candle-making, military life, magic shows at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., and much more. 

Commissioner Jim Jefferson, Liaison to the Department of Parks, said, “The Spring Festival is a great way to experience life in colonial Gloucester County and colonial America. Along with all the outdoor fun, The James and Ann Whitall House will be open for tours and special battlefield tours are scheduled throughout the day.”

The Red Bank Battlefield Park is located at 100 Hessian Ave., in National Park, NJ.
