Mallard (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional) was selected the Women’s Basketball Player of the Week as she scored a team-high 20 points in Rowan’s 75-69 win over Montclair State in the final regular-season game, which secured the number-two seed in this week’s NJAC Tournament. Mallard, who receives the weekly award for the third time, had six rebounds and tied her career-high with six steals in the victory.

Ross (Sicklerville, NJ/St. Joseph Hammonton) was named the Men’s Basketball Player of the Week as he scored 26 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds in the Profs’ 110-102 overtime win over Montclair State in the regular-season finale. The sophomore guard also had four steals and three rebounds as Rowan improved to 21-4 on the year and clinched the second seed in this week’s NJAC Tournament. It marks the second time this season that Ross has received the league’s weekly honor.

Padros (New Milford, CT/New Milford) was chosen the NJAC Women’s Swimming Rookie of the Week as she helped her team to a third-place finish at the Metropolitan Championships. The freshman registered season bests in all her events at the championships, including a preliminary time in the 200 backstroke that was the number-one overall. She came away with a silver medal in the 1650 free, clocking an 18:04.10 in the finals and earns the conference’s honor for the second time this season.
