EDITOR'S NOTE--A car chase ended with the suspect crashing the vehicle and running away from police on foot. The arrow points to a police officer who was last in the chase. The short video shows this cop bypassing everyone; the chase ends when the cop makes a perfect tackle around his knees bringing the guy down to the ground. The video went viral. Parts of Test Waived to Help Increase Number of Drivers TRENTON – Effective January 7 through March 31, 2022, New Jersey applicants for school bus driver licensing will not be required to take the “under-the-hood” portion of the exam. All other components of the written and skills test will remain. Gloucester Township Police Crime Stoppers: Between Christmas Day 2021 and Sunday, January 2, 2022, an unknown suspect stole the pictured plaque from the retaining wall out front of St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church on the Old Black Horse Pike in the Hilltop Section of Gloucester Township, New Jersey. Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Mount Holly Township Police Chief Richard Spitler announced that a 41-year-old Mount Holly resident has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failing to seek medical treatment for an injured person after fatally striking a woman with his pickup truck in October 2020. Angel Carrion, of Blue Jay Lane, was taken into custody on January 6 by officers from the Mount Holly Township Police Department. Closures necessary for tree clearing operation (Trenton) – New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced daytime shoulder closures on Route 42 northbound as a bridge replacement project begins in Gloucester Township, Camden County.
