HADDONFIELD: Children in Camden and Gloucester Counties are benefiting from the Kiwanis Club’s Christmas donations.
An entire class along with several siblings at the Greater Collingswood Childcare Center were adopted by the Kiwanis Club of the Haddons and the Eastern Regional High School Key Club. Santa will be very pleased with the assistance.
Multiple youth at the Youth Empowerment Shelters operated by the Center for Family Services in the area will receive hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and socks, through personal donations of Kiwanis Club members.
“Serving the Children is our mission,” stated club treasurer Pat Wilson, as she helped box up the overflowing tableful of gifts at a recent club meeting.
Into it’s 99th year of service to the community, the Kiwanis Club of the Haddons is always looking for ways to improve the lives of children.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The club meets every Friday for lunch virtually and in-person at Tavistock Country Club, 100 Tavistock Lane, Haddonfield, from 12:15PM until 1:30PM, and invites all area adults to join.
