John D. Dickson Sr., of Gloucester City; Korean War Naval Veteran, Member of Teamsters Local 676

On December 19, 2021, John D. Dickson Sr., passed away peacefully at the age of 89. Loving husband of 66 years to the late Anna T. Dickson. Beloved father of Kathy Brandt, Peggy (Randy) Chiodi, John Jr. (Alice), Denise Robison, the late Barbara Ann (surviving Bruce) and the late David. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Beloved brother of Helen Crispin and Edith Higginbotham.

Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Albert and Helen Dickson (nee Alexander). John proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked many years as a truck driver and a longtime member of Teamsters Local 676.

Relatives are friends are invited to a visitation honoring John and his late wife, Anna on Wednesday evening, December 29th from 6 to 8 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Interment will be private in Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, North Hanover Twp., NJ
