John A. Bakely, "Jack", on December 28, 2021, of Bellmawr; formerly of Gloucester City. Age 83.
Beloved husband of the late Therese Bakely (nee Shaw). Devoted father of Jack Bakely and Therese Posey (Glenn). Loving Pop Pop of Billy Watson and Daphne Posey. Dear brother of Sis Morency (the late Jack), George Bakely (Judy), Marion Bennett (the late Chuck). Myrtle Barber (the late Chuck), Joseph Bakely (the late Pat), Carol Elenback (Bill) and the late Charles Bakely. Dear brother-on-law of Jean Bakely. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jack proudly served with the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was an executive board member for the Iron Workers Local #350 in Atlantic City.
There will be a viewing from 12 noon to 2pm Sunday, January 2, 2022 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral service 2pm at the funeral home.
Interment is private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
