The Gloucester County Animal Shelter has found their longest resident their forever home!

Angel, a 5-year-old dog Argentino, has found the family for him! Angel is the longest resident at the shelter for 189 days.

“Angel was surrendered to GCAS because his owner was unable to care for him. The shelter has been his home for half a year and we are so happy to see him find his forever home,” said Director Damminger.

Angel first came to the shelter on May 27, 2021, and will be brought to his forever home on December 2, 2021.

“Without the help of the volunteers at the shelter, Angel may have not been able to find the perfect match. We are always welcoming new volunteers to help at the shelter,” said Deputy Director Frank J. DiMarco.

The shelter is always accepting volunteer applications to help care for the animals. Individuals interested in volunteering at GCAS can find an application here: https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/233/Volunteers-Fostering

Adoption fees are only $35.00 for dogs and cats 6 years and younger. The fee for animals 6 years and older is waived.
