Six Certified Nurse Midwives Join Jefferson Health – New Jersey

Six Certified Nurse Midwives have joined the staff of Jefferson Health – New Jersey as members of Jefferson NJ Primary & Specialty Care. They will practice at Jefferson offices in Mullica Hill, Sewell, West Deptford, Haddonfield, and its newest location, 205 E. Laurel Road in Stratford, which recently opened.

The new Jefferson NJ Nurse Midwives are:

·       Jennifer Barraclough, CNM

·       Victoria Asturrizaga, CNM

·       Jessica Hayes, CNM

·       Meredith Stein, CNM

·       Katherine Wormster, CNM

Nurse Midwives (CNMs) are master’s level clinicians who provide primary healthcare to women of all ages. Using a team approach, they work in conjunction with OB/GYN physicians. In addition to delivering babies, Nurse Midwives focus on gynecologic and family planning, as well as post-partum and newborn care.
