Multiple Alarm House Fire in Glendora, No Injuries

 
GLENDORA, NJ --On Friday November 5, 2021 at approximately 7:51 AM, The Gloucester Township Police Department was dispatched to a house fire on the 800 block of Huntington Avenue, in the Glendora section of Gloucester Township, New Jersey.

Gloucester Township Police Officers arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the single family unit and located the lone occupant outside, unharmed. Firefighters from Glendora Fire Company , Gloucester Twp. Engine 88Runnemede Fire & EMS , Chews Landing Fire Department , Bellmawr Fire Department , Magnolia Fire Department and Somerdale Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire.
 
The fire appears to be non suspicious. There were no injuries to emergency personnel or civilians. The resident will be displaced until smoke and water damage can be remediated.
 
Saturday night we will be moving the clocks back one hour and this is a good time to check/change the batteries on your smoke detectors and alarms.
