Irene V. Johnson, of Audubon, Former Employee of GAF in Gloucester City

Irene V. Johnson (nee Petroski), 74, of Barrington and a former longtime resident of Audubon, NJ passed away at her son's home, surrounded by her loving family on November 24, 2021.

Beloved wife of the late James R. Johnson, Sr.  Loving mother of James "J.R." (Anysley) of Oaklyn, NJ and Gregory (Lindsay) of Barrington, NJ.  Devoted grandmother of Alexander and Julie Johnson.  She is also survived by dear friends and neighbors. 

Irene began her career in 1964 with G.A.F. Manufacturing, in Gloucester City, NJ and rose to be the first female department head company wide.  She left her career to start her family where she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday 11 AM to 12 Noon at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 S. White Horse Pike, Audubon,  NJ.  Prayer service will follow at 12 Noon.  Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
