Two NJ Transit Buses Involved in Traffic Accident on WHP; Injuries Reported

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP NJ --October 28, 2021)--Today, October 28, at approximately 0607hrs Winslow Twp Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on the White Horse Pike (US30). The crash was involving two(2) New Jersey Transit buses.

Investigation revealed that the first NJ Transit bus was parked disabled in the roadway on US 30, eastbound with no passengers on board. The second NJ Transit bus was traveling eastbound and struck the rear of the first, parked bus.

The second bus was occupied by the driver, Mindy Eli and four passengers.  Mindy Eli was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital for her injuries. One passenger was transported via ambulance to Virtua Hospital, Voorhees for minor injuries. The other three passengers had minor injuries and refused treatment.
