Patrone got the Profs on the board almost immediately, tallying her first goal just 1:43 into the game. Vanessa DiDonato took a pass from Rachel Stone and scored from the top of the circle to give Rowan a 2-0 lead in the second quarter.

Rowan scored five goals in the second half, starting with Patrone’s second at 32:39, which was her team-high 18th of the season. She tapped it in from the right post after the assist from Kristiina Castagnola.

Guinan netted her first of the game at 39:09, off a corner, with the pass from Krystyna Hovell. Castagnola then went on a breakaway and scored from the top left of the circle at 43:41.

Hovell added a goal just minutes later on a rebound after the initial shot from DiDonato. Guinan closed out the scoring with a blast from the top of the circle at 52:57.

Rowan turned in another dominating performance, holding a commanding 21-1 edge in shots. Goalkeeper Abby Hainsworth didn’t have to make any saves while Rowan recorded its seventh shutout of the year.

The Profs will await the conclusion of NJAC play on Saturday to learn their opponent for the semifinals on Wednesday, November 3, to be hosted by Rowan at 7 p.m.
