Project Veritas Action Fund Releases a 2nd Video Exposes NJ Gov. Murphy’s Re-election Campaign; $40 Million for Illegals

NJ Gov. Murphy OMITTING Information on Taxpayer Funding for Illegal Immigrants Until After Election; Senior Advisor Wendy Martinez Says Murphy Will ‘Designate’ Millions Towards This Issue But ‘At This Point Would Be Political Suicide’

  • Wendy Martinez, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy Campaign Senior Advisor: “I think it’s 40 million dollars [being allocated to illegal immigrants], something like that -- and to designate that at this point would be political suicide.”
  • Martinez: “We need to get him [Murphy] elected first.”
  • Matthew Urquijo, Manager of New Jersey Forward: “There's definitely [going to be] more aid [for illegal immigrants], especially [since] this will be his [Murphy’s] second term. The goal is to win even more seats in the legislature so that we can like, just push – push through.”

[NEWARK, N.J. – Oct. 27, 2021] Project Veritas Action Fund released a second video today exposing New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s re-election campaign -- this time for omitting information on state funds being given to illegal immigrants.

Wendy Martinez, the campaign’s senior advisor who had already been exposed by Veritas on Monday, was recorded admitting that it would be detrimental for Murphy that these facts be brought to light:

Veritas Journalist: “There are so many negative things being talked about, right? About the funds. I'm not well informed in any of it, that's why I came to you, because you’re the expert.”

Wendy Martinez, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy Campaign Senior Advisor: “You mean ‘Recovery.’”

Veritas Journalist: “Yes.”

Martinez: “The money for the ‘excluded workers,’ for the undocumented workers?”

Veritas Journalist: “Uh huh, yes, yes.”

Martinez: “Look, that's a mess, I’m going to tell you the truth. Here speaking as sister to sister.”

Veritas Journalist: “Yes, yes.”

Martinez: “I think it’s 40 million dollars [being allocated to illegal immigrants], something like that -- and to designate that at this point would be political suicide.”

Veritas Journalist: “If he [Murphy] designates that for illegals. So, he’s not going to say anything now.”

Martinez: “Money has already been given.”

Veritas Journalist: “But it hasn't been said.”

Martinez: “It has not been said. What happens is that they want more. I think that’s what happened.”

…

Veritas Journalist: “But if he [Murphy] talks about it, then it’s going to be suicide for him.”

Martinez: “If he does it right now, yes.”

Veritas Journalist: “But he’s going to do it?”

Martinez: “Yes, we need to get him elected first.”

Matthew Urquijo, the Manager of New Jersey Forward who was also exposed by Veritas on Monday night, had a similar perception of Governor Murphy’s position on the illegal immigration issue:

Veritas Journalist: “So, what do you think? Do you think he [Murphy] will give more money to the undocumented?

Matthew Urquijo, Manager of New Jersey Forward: “I think there's definitely [going to be] more aid, especially [since] this will be his second term. The goal is to win even more seats in the legislature so that we can like, just push -- push through.”
