The mission to remember, honor and teach about local veterans, continues to roll on

NEW JERSEY —  The Wreaths Across America (WAA) Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE), has been traveling the country to honor our nation's veterans and was scheduled to make four tour stops in New Jersey. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the WAA MEE tour was put on temporary hiatus but is now ready to return.

“The goal of the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit is to bring community together and teach patriotism while remembering the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes,” said Karen Worcester, executive director, Wreaths Across America. “However, since the Mobile Education Exhibit won’t be available we ask that folks in New Jersey Join us for a national flag waving effort of September 7th as a way to come together and teach patriotism.”

The MEE achieves this goal by bringing the local community, veterans, active-duty military and their families together through interactive exhibits, short films, and shared stories. The exhibit serves as a mobile museum, educating visitors about the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes as well as serving as an official ‘welcome home’ station for our nation’s Vietnam Veterans.

The scheduled stop in New Jersey includes:

BERNARDVILLE, NJ – Originally Scheduled for Wednesday, September 8, is now coming up on Wednesday, September 29 – The School of St. Elizabeth invited the WAA MEE to teach students about honor for local veterans and active-duty military and will be open to the school children from 9am until 11:30am. Then the public is invited to take a free tour at 30 Seney Drive from 12:30pm until 4pm.
