Passed away at the age of 79 on September 13, 2021. Al was born in Camden, NJ to the late, John E. and Martha B. (Brangan) Gerber. Al is survived by his children, Debbie Test (predeceased by Wayne), Albert J. Gerber, Jr. (Don); grandchildren, Nika, Wayne, Jordan, Sean and Mason. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Patricia A. (Reddy) Gerber in November 2017; son-in-law, Wayne Test in January 2021; brother, John Gerber in January 2021. 7626261_fbs

Al was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He graduated from Gloucester City High School class of 1960 and went on to work for many years as a forklift operator with South Jersey Port in Gloucester City, he also was a truck driver for Reagan Trucking in Gloucester City as well as working as a glazier and a boilermaker.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 5:00 pm in the McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ, where family and friends may visit from 3 to 5:00 pm
