PITMAN, NJ - The Rowan volleyball team has been voted fourth in the 2021 NJAC Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by the league. The Profs were also voted by the coaches as the “dark horse”, being the team that could surprise its foes.
The Profs have not played since the 2019 season when they reached the NJAC Championship match. Rowan went 19-15 and earned the program's first-ever regional ranking, earning the 10th spot in the New York Region in the final poll of the season.
Rowan opens the year on September 1 when it hosts Neumann in Esby Gym. The Profs will then take part in Gettysburg's Battlefield Classic on Labor Day weekend, September 3-4, before returning home to host the Rowan Quad on September 10-11, with Catholic, Morrisville State and Widener.
Topping the list of returnees for the Profs are Natalie Ogden, an All-NJAC Second Team selection in 2019, and Cassidy Abdalla, who earned All-NJAC Honorable Mention.
