If you remember, The Island of Doctor Moreau is an 1896 science fiction novel by English author H. G. Wells. The text of the novel is the narration of Edward Prendick who is a shipwrecked man rescued by a passing boat. He is left on the island home of Doctor Moreau, a mad scientist who creates human-like hybrid beings from animals via vivisection, according to Wikipedia.

New revelations about the sly Doctor, his hidden investments, research funding of illegal activities in China, and questionable science, including him discounting Ivermectin as a useful tool in the fight against covid, have some people up in arms. The aforementioned anti-parasitic might not be to the man's liking due to the fact that his uncovered suspicious behavior somewhat resembles that of a parasite.

Today, we have learned that Dr. Fauci’s NIH spent $400,000 on research that involved infecting beagles with parasites by exposing them to biting flies carrying the parasite.
