Camden City N.J. – Yesterday, Andrew Kramer started as the new Public Information Officer for the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Informational press releases on arrests, indictments, convictions after trial, and requests for assistance from the public in locating suspects, continue to be of the utmost importance to CCPO.

However, with the addition of our Community Engagement Coordinator, Nancy Cruz, and our desire to bridge the gap between CCPO and our residents, Andrew will continue to highlight all of the good work we do with our community outreach efforts, such as the Village Initiative, Operation Helping Hand, our partnerships with Hispanic Family Services and the Camden County Women’s Center,  and our efforts to promote cyber safety through presentations by our High Tech Crimes Unit, to name a few.

Prior to coming to our office, Andrew spent 14 years at KYW Newsradio in Philadelphia, where he held a variety of positions. Most recently, Andrew was an editor, general assignment reporter, and writer, as part of the station’s award-winning news team. These roles allowed him to develop his public speaking skills and excel as a communicator- skills he’s excited to bring to the CCPO.

Andrew also served as a digital content producer and social media editor for both KYW Newsradio and CBS Philly, the online platform for KYW-TV in Philadelphia.

Andrew is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. His career began with a brief stint in Levittown, Bucks County, working part-time for WBCB 1490AM.

Andrew brings a wealth of experience and will be a valuable asset in connecting the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office with the citizens we serve.
