*REMINDER* this is a charity softball tournament with basic coed rules. If you are not aware we have this softball tournament every year to fund our scholarship to award 3 scholarships a year to deserving athletes and students in honor of our Nicky. Crazy to think this will be our 18th one! We also will have the concessions open and a t-shirt stand as usual. We hope to see everyone there as this day was truly missed last year!
Army Private Nicholas J. Parisi Jr., of Bellmawr, was free climbing the side of a rocky mountain in Colorado Springs called the Pinnacle when he slipped and fell nearly 400 feet to his death. Parisi was 18 at the time of his death. He had just come home from a tour of duty in Iraq and was on RR when the accident occurred on April 28, 2004.
A graduate of Triton High School, he was a volunteer member of Bellmawr Fire Dept. #1 and, he was the Junior Firefighter of the Year for Camden County from 2002 to 2003.
